V25 debut and Malaysian stories from iCAUR’s Wuhu summit

iCAUR unveiled the V25 at its International User Summit in Wuhu, China, on 19 October 2026. The new SUV joined the V23 and V27 in the brand’s international line-up.

Malaysia featured in the programme too. Keem Yap was named among iCAUR’s first global brand ambassadors, while Yan Yan Lee shared her journey from V23 ownership to speaking on stage in China.

A new addition to the V-Series

The V25 keeps the family’s boxy shape and round headlights. Chery has announced battery-electric and range-extender versions, with its i-AWD system offered on all-wheel-drive models.

Customisation was a big part of the five-day event. The V25 Game Changer appeared alongside the V23 Forge and V27 Sun Roam, with user- and partner-built cars also on display. Chery plans to offer the three official custom models in global markets by early 2027, depending on local regulations and market conditions.

Keem Yap joins the ambassador group

Chery’s 21 October announcement names Keem Yap from Malaysia among its first ten global brand ambassadors. The group brings together owners from several markets who contribute to the brand and its community.

Keem also shared a photograph of his Community Champion award from the 2026 Chery International User Summit.

Yan Yan Lee: from a V23 to the Wuhu stage

Malaysian creator Yan Yan Lee introduces herself on Facebook as the founder of I Catch You Studio.

She wrote about “sharing my story on stage in China” and posted a photograph of an award bearing her name and the title “iCAUR Global Brand Ambassador”.

Her car also featured in Chery’s owner stories. She uses the V23 to carry photography equipment, with a foldable front-row table giving her somewhere to work between shoots.

A Malaysian design on display

Malaysian designer Wang Weiquan also had a vehicle design at the summit. It combined figures of three young people from different ethnic backgrounds with Malaysian flag and national flower details. iCAUR representative Daniel Lai Seng Kong presented it on his behalf.
