iCAUR Warranty Malaysia: What 03 and V23 Owners Should Check
iCAUR Malaysia extended its power battery, drive unit and high-voltage component warranty to 10 years / 200,000km for all vehicles registered in 2026, up from 8 years / 160,000km. | Coverage | Published limit |
|---|---|
| Vehicle | 7 years / 150,000km |
| Power battery | 10 years / 200,000km |
| Drive unit and high-voltage components | 10 years / 200,000km |
The vehicle warranty remains unchanged. These limits are also displayed on the official iCAUR Malaysia warranty page (opens in a new tab). If your car was registered in 2025, ask iCAUR to confirm your coverage; the reported extension specifies 2026 registrations.
Check the part, too
The official page lists these separate component limits. Each runs to the stated time or mileage, whichever comes first:
| Component | Published limit |
|---|---|
| AC compressor, water pump, alternator and oil pump (listed under “Engine Compartment”) | 3 years / 60,000km |
| Absorbers, brake callipers, brake discs and hub bearings | 3 years / 60,000km |
| Power window motor and infotainment unit | 3 years / 60,000km |
| High-voltage supervising unit (HVSU) | 3 years / 90,000km |
| Bottom protective plate, explosion relief valve, high- and low-voltage connectors, positive and negative contactors (relays), pre-charge resistance, pre-charge contactor, diverter and Hall sensor | 2 years / 30,000km |
| Brake pads | 1 year / 30,000km |
| 12V battery | 1 year / 20,000km |
| Fuses | 1 year / 15,000km |
| Tyres | 3 months / 5,000km |
The page includes generic “Engine Compartment” entries and shorter high-voltage limits alongside its 10-year headline. Ask the centre which entries apply to your model and exact part. A listed limit alone doesn’t confirm an approved claim. Source: iCAUR Malaysia warranty page (opens in a new tab)
The current official page advertises one-to-one power-battery replacement below 60% battery health. Ask the centre to confirm the replacement threshold in your own warranty terms and how it is measured. Battery health is different from the charge percentage on your dashboard. Roadside help and authorised service centres
iCAUR’s warranty page also mentions 24/7 roadside assistance and a nationwide authorised service network. It doesn’t explain the assistance period, towing limits or exclusions, so check your vehicle’s assistance terms before relying on a particular benefit. Before you request an iCAUR warranty assessment
Keep the details together so you can explain the issue clearly:
- Record the date, mileage and what happened.
- Take photos or a short video of the warning or fault, if you can do so safely.
- Gather your service invoices and any previous job sheets for the same issue.
- Bring any warranty booklet or written coverage confirmation you received.
When contacting the centre, describe the symptoms without guessing which part needs replacing. Ask what assessment is needed, whether there are diagnostic charges, and whether the proposed repair has been approved under warranty.
Get any costs explained before you authorise work. If the centre says the issue isn’t covered, ask for the reason and the relevant warranty term in writing.
